Traffic movement at Charmadi Ghat prohibited from Aug 15 to Sept 14

Belthangady: Following the incessant rain since last few days and subsequent landslides reported at various places along Charmadi Ghat, traffic movement will be prohibited fron August 15 to September 14 as repair works will be undertaken in this area.
At least 60 landslides occurred on the 25-km stretch from Charmadi to Kottigehara in Chikkamagaluru. Work to clear the landslides is in progress and repair works will be undertaken from August 15.
