Three individuals from Chikkamagaluru, who had embarked on a visit to the Ullal Dargah, faced a tragedy as they drowned in the Arabian Sea. While vigilant lifeguards managed to rescue two of them, Salman (19) succumbed to the unfortunate incident despite efforts at the hospital. The search is currently underway for Basheer (23), the third member, who remains missing in the sea.

Basheer, Salman, and Saif Ali (27) had paid their respects at the Ullal Dargah before proceeding to the nearby sea beach. It was during their recreational activities in the water that an overpowering wave struck, leading to the unfortunate incident.

The Mogaveera lifeguard team promptly responded to the emergency, bravely entering the sea to rescue Saif Ali and Salman. Both victims were swiftly transported to the hospital, where Salman, unfortunately, could not be saved. The search operation for Basheer continues as authorities strive to locate him in the sea.
