Tragic drowning incident claims lives of three engineering students in Ponnampet

Three students from a private engineering college lost their lives in a drowning accident in Arji village, Ponnampet taluk on Saturday.
The victims, identified as Mangetira P. Akash Biddappa, Uluvanda Sudesh Ayyappa, and Rashik Kunjanganda J., were engineering students. The incident occurred near a river while the students were walking, resulting in an unfortunate accident.
Local authorities, including the Ponnampet police station, have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. The police are currently on-site to gather information and ascertain the details of the tragic event.
