Train ferrying migrant workers derails near Padil

Mangaluru: The locomotive of a Shramik special train ferrying migrant workers from Tirur to Jaipur derailed at Padil here on Tuesday, May 19 early morning.
The derailment occurred at around 2 am on Tuesday. No casualties were reported in the incident.
The train proceeded to its destination after a replacement engine was fixed at around 4 am.
The railways authorities visited the spot and have commenced restoration work.
