Travel like Teddy: Airport workers give bear VIP treatment after owner accidentally leaves it behind

Forget travelling first class – this bear travelled teddy class after being left behind at an airport by its heartbroken owner.
Young Ulyana had been travelling to Thailand for a winter break with her family but accidentally left her ted in Yekaterinburg, Russia’s fourth largest city.
But after her mother emailed staff at the airport , the bear was given the very best treatment and photographed while on its mini adventure.
The airport’s spokesman Dmitry Tyukhtin explained: “Ulyana and her mother left for Bangkok on 25 December, and next morning they emailed us to say that they had lost the teddy bear.”
Kind-hearted staff wrote back reassuring the girl – whose full identity, age and picture has not been revealed – urging her to enjoy her tropical holiday, saying: “Don’t worry Ulyana, your teddy bear is doing great!
“While you swim and sunbathe, he’s living with us.
“Have a look at some pictures we took of him.”
The bear – very possibly a Christmas present for the girl – is shown watching the planes at the city’s Koltsovo airport.
And it was even snapped playing happily on a toy plane at the airport’s playground.
Clearly the teddy is eating well, enjoying cream-topped seasonal cake from a departure terminal cafe.
The bear was even provided with a comfortable bed with a soft pillow so it could take a rest.
The airport’s reaction has been applauded by Russians who heard about the story.
