Tree falls on car due to heavy rains in Ullal, no injuries reported

Ullal: Continuous heavy rains caused a tree to fall on a car on Monday afternoon in Pilaru, within the Someshwara municipal limits.

Ashish, who resides in a rental house in Pilaru, had parked his car in a private vacant area outside his house and went inside just as strong winds and rain caused a large tree to fall on his car. Fortunately, Ashish was not inside the car at the time, narrowly escaping injury.

The car was severely damaged. Officials from the Someshwara municipality visited the site to assess the situation.
