The deceased are identified as Pradeep Kumar (28), a resident of Uttarahalli, Harish Kumar (25), a resident of Anjanapura and Basavaiah alias Avinash (24), a resident of Kanakapura. As all the passengers were able to get down from the bus as soon as it caught fire major casualties were averted.
