Truck-bike accident: Biker dies after truck falls on him

Padubidri: In a truck-bike accident that occurred at the Padubidri junction on Tuesday noon, a biker died on spot.

The person has been identified as Shamsuddin, a resident of Kanchinadka.

As per the reports, the truck was travelling towards Mangaluru from Udupi. At this point in time, the truck driver has lost control at the Padubidri junction. Eventually, the truck has fallen on the bike.

Due to this, a biker named Shamsuddin died instantly.

According to the police sources, the deceased was an ice cream vendor. He was at home, as there was no business during the rains. On Tuesday, he had been to shandy market and while returning home, the tragic incident took place.

Meanwhile, with the help of the locals and a crane, the truck has been lifted and the body has been recovered.
