Truck-omni collide; youth dies

Mangaluru: A speeding tipper rammed into an omni van here on Thursday. 

Due to the collision the driver of the car died and five others were injured. 

The deceased has been identified as Muhammed Kamaluddin (24) from Adkare Padpu, Renjady. Muzambil from Renjady sustained serious injuries. Kairunnisa (32), Sikandar (42), Muhammed Munaiz (4) and Mazin (2), all from Renjady Deralakatte were admitted into a hospital at Deralakatte for the treatment of their injuries.

It has been reported that two families were on their way back after returning from a family function when the incident took place.

Al case about this accident was registered in the city (south) traffic police station. Investigation is in progress.
