Trucks collide: one killed, another person injured

Bengaluru: A 37 year old labourer was killed and another person severely injured when a speeding truck rammed another truck. The accident took place on Sunday night at Bannerghatta Road.

The deceased labourer is Shivanna. Shivanna and Nagaraj were heading towards Bannerghatta to deliver a truck load of furniture. The truck broke down when it reached near T. John College so the truck driver asked Shivanna and Nagaraj to push the truck.

When they were pushing the truck, another speeding truck from behind rammed into the truck and killed Shivanna on spot. Nagaraj has sustained severe injuries and is said to be in critical condition.

The Hulimavu police arrived at the spot and a case has been registered. Further investigation is in progress.
