Bantwal: Traffic on National Highway-275 was disrupted for over two hours on Sunday after two trucks got stuck on the highway near Kalladka.

Currently, the work on upgrading ht BC Road-Addahole into 4 lanes is ongoing. Traffic is allowed only on the narrow service road to facilitate the construction of the flyover work at Kalladka.

One of the trucks, a fuel tanker, got stuck in the mud after swerving to the left in a bid to avoid hitting an autorickshaw. A huge container lorry later tried to move through the narrow space left on the road and got stuck., Causing traffic snarls.

Later, traffic was allowed on the other service road, easing the congestion.
