Tulu actor Aravind Bolar injured in road accident

Mangaluru: Famous Tulu film and theater actor Aravind Bolar was injured in a road accident on Monday, January 30.
According to sources, the actor has been admitted to a hospital. The accident occurred in the Pumpwell area of the city. The scooter he was driving reportedly skidded.
Actor and director Devadas Kapikad, who visited the hospital, said that Balar sustained injuries to his leg.
Family sources said that there is no need for alarm or panic. Bolar will undergo a minor surgery tomorrow for the injuries on his leg. Bolar himself spoke to Udayavani.
In a video message from Arvind Bolar was released from the hospital bed, he said that the scooter he was driving skidded and was injured in the leg.
“I was saved because I was wearing a helmet at the time,” Bolar said and urged all two-wheeler riders to compulsorily wear helmets for their own safety.
Mangaluru Traffic ACP Geeta Kulkarni and Walter Nandalike were also in the video message.
