Tulu cinema enthusiasts are in for a treat as the highly anticipated Tulu film “Koramma” hit the screens on August 11th. Helmed by director Shivadhwaj Shetty, the film encapsulates the essence of Tulu culture, customs, language, and traditional way of life, offering a compelling blend of entertainment and cultural preservation.

The cinematic journey of “Koramma” will unfold across various locations including Mangalore, Surathkal, Puttur, Padubidre, and more. This cinematic masterpiece, produced under the banner of Safair Production House, is marked by its authentic portrayal of Tulu ancestral traditions and artifacts. Director Shivadhwaj Shetty’s creative prowess has already earned him the prestigious State Award for Best Director, highlighting the film’s remarkable artistic integrity.

The trio of producers – Adyar Madhav Naik, Ishwaridas Shetty, and Rajeshwar Rai – have joined forces with a talented crew to bring “Koramma” to life. With music composed by Shinoj A Joseph, cinematography by Suresh Baerasandra, dialogues penned by Shrinish Bhat, and art direction curated by Santosh Poojary Venur, the film boasts a collaborative effort that enhances its visual and narrative impact. The co-direction team comprising Harshi Bhageer, Prasad Kumar Nooinakeri, and Veeresh S. P. Hanjikeri further adds to the film’s creative depth.
