Mangaluru: A message like this is flowing through the lanes of Coastalwood. Once, if a houseful board was to be placed in front of the theatre, only if there were movies of such levels. Even in that, there are handful Tulu movies that have got this opportunity.
In the cinema world, more marks are earned for a houseful in a single theatre than to a houseful in a multiplex.
A few Tulu movies including ‘Oriyardori Asal’, ‘Rang’, ‘Chaalipolilu’, ‘Pilibail Yamunakka’, ‘Chandikori’ and others have witnessed the houseful board in Mangaluru. Now, the recently released ‘Dagalbajil’ Tulu movie has also joined this list. This movie, which is doing well at other theaters, witnessed houseful board at Jyothi talkies on Sunday July 22nd. The specialty is that, in Moodbidri, since there was no space, a few fans watched the movie sitting on the theatre floor itself.
Hence, it can be said that new winds are pushing forward Coastalwood to greater heights. Though a couple of Tulu movies fail, the movies which come later will once again lift up Coastalwood.
