TVS Jupiter Grande discontinued | Jupiter ZX updated with new features

TVS Jupiter, the brand’s popular scooter model has been updated with slight modifications. Yes, the 2019 version of TVS Jupiter will be lacking its feature-rich Grande edition and instead, the ZX variant of the scooter will be getting many new features. The updated Jupiter ZX also gets two new colour options viz., Starlight Blue and Royal Wine.
TVS offers the new range-topping ZX variant of Jupiter with an LED headlight, a semi-digital instrument console, an adjustable rear monoshock and chrome highlighted rear-view mirrors. The Sync Brake System (SBS) of TVS has now become standard on the scooter. However, the Jupiter Grande’s diamond cut alloy wheels, new cross-stitched seat cover and the chrome inserts will be missing on the updated Jupiter ZX variant.
Mechanically, the 2019 TVS Jupiter ZX remains the same with the 109.7cc single-cylinder, OHC engine that produces 8bhp power at 7500rpm and 8.4Nm torque at 5500rpm. The Jupiter ZX is available in both drum and disc brake versions at a price of Rs.56,093 for the drum and Rs.58,645 for the disc brake variants (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
