Twitter slams Pak bowler over ‘slit-throat’ celebration

Sydney: Pakistan’s uncapped fast bowler Haris Rauf has been a sensation in the new edition of Australia’s Big Bash League as he bagged 10 wickets from 3 matches for Melbourne starts so far.
The official account of the T20 League has tweeted one of the wickets taken by him on Thursday, January 2 playing against Sydney Thunders captioning, “This stump cam footage is BRUTAL!”

The throat-cutting celebration of Haris is getting a lot of attention over Twitter.
Former Australian rugby league player Darryl Brohman condemned this act as he said, “Not sure we need the throat-cutting gesture from Harris Rauf every time he takes a wicket.”

Haris Rauf finished with 3/24 by taking wickets of Callum Fergusen, Alex Ross, and Daniel Sams. His performance helped Melbourne Stars to win the match by 3 wickets.
