Bengaluru: Congress leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has posed some “tough ” questions to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is on a tour of Karnataka.

In a series of tweets, Siddraramiah posed several questions with the hashtag #AnswerMaadiShah.

The first tweet posed a question about the cooperatives. “Before you start your speech at ‘Sahakara Sammelana, Mr @AmitShah, do not forget to the answer the following, What was your relationship with cooperative banks while unleashing #DemonetisationScam?” Siddaramaiah asked.

“With the grand launch of ‘Sahakara Sammelana’, are you training your @BJP4Karnataka leaders to make cooperative societies a breeding ground for BJP’s corruption?” the next tweet in the series asked.

Shifting the focus to the farm laws, the congress leader tweeted “@BJP4India Central govt has bowed down to farmers by repealing farm laws, but why is @BJP4Karnataka govt displaying such audacity not to do the same? Was this your govt’s plan to repeal at Centre & allow State govts to be adamant & fool farmers?”

Taking a dig at the Karnataka government relaunching the Yeshaswini Scheme for medical insurance, which was started during the Congress’ rule in the state, Siddaramaiah asked “With you relaunching Yeshaswini scheme, are you indicating that Ayushman Bharath PM Jan Aarogya Yojana has failed?”
