Two accused in Candle Santhu murder case

Mangaluru: The fourth additional sessions court on Thursday said that two suspects were involved in the murder of Candle Santhu.

The accused are Iqbal and Farooq. The court stated that the quantum of their sentences would be pronounced on Friday. Both the accused are currently in judicial custody.

Candle Santhu alias Santhosh was killed by miscreants outside his home on February 18, 2009.

The miscreants who came in a car had abandoned the car by the side of Adyar rivulet, four days later. The police, during investigation, had named 12 persons as accused. Madoor Isubu, Madoor Ismail, Suleiman, Muhammed Kabir, Abbas Bantwal, Isac Bantwal, and Habeed.
