Two Accused in Criminal Cases Injured in Police Firing in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Two robbers injures after police fired at them in an attempt to protect themselves from an assault at Sarjapur road in the state capital on Sunday morning. The two injured accused have been identified as Amar and Mujamill.

The incident took place when the police tried to arrest the duo when they were plying through a motor cycle on Sarjapur road in the city as the accused tried to stab the police personnel to stop the police from arresting them.

Two Bellandur police station constables, Antony and Vijay injured when the accused attacked them with knives. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital for treatment. The police have booked  13 criminal cases against the two accused including 11 robbery cases, a murder and 1 attempt to murder case.
