Two air force officials, two militants killed in Bandipora

Jammu: Two Indian Air Force officials who were being trained with the Indian army were killed in an encounter with terrorists in Bandipora here this morning.

It has been reported that two terrorists have been shot dead in the encounter.

Security forces surrounded a house in a village after specific inputs about the presence of terrorists. The terrorists fired from the house, after which the forces retaliated.

“The operation is going on,” said Sheikh Zulfikar, senior police officer in Bandipora.
