Two arrested for spreading fake video of Church attacks

Mangaluru: Two persons have been arrested for spreading fake video of Church attacks.
The accused have been identified as Sunil Veigas (34), son of Baptist Veigas and Sachit P P (23), son of Paulose. Both the accused are residents of Guddikere, Aralikoppa village, N R Pura Taluk in Chikkamagalur.
On May 15, a fake video of church attacks in Mangaluru was widely spread across social media.
However, the police claimed that the video was of church attacks in 2009 and not a recent one.
The police said that the accused have been produced before the court.
