Two arrested for thrashing youth at mall

Mangaluru: The city police on Wednesday arrested two people for assaulting a youth at a mall here.

The arrested are Moideen Safwan and a juvenile.

Following the arrested the police informed that the juvenile will be dealt with as per the provisions of juvenile justice laws.

A youth was thrashed by a group of students at a mall here on Wednesday, September 25. The victim of the attack is identified as Manjunath, a resident of Bantwal.

A video concerning this incidnet showing Manjunath getting beaten has gone viral on social media. The video shows Manjunath saying that this is Hindu Rashtra, followed by an argument between him and some youngsters and soon, the group of students attacks Manjunath.
