Two Children Die after Consuming Acid Stored in Soft Drink Bottle in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: In a tragic incident two children drank acid and died at a residence near avenue road in Bengaluru city on Wednesday night. The deceased have been identified as Sayil Singh (9), son of jewelry maker Shanker Singh and his neighbor’s son Aryan Singh (8).
The duo drunk Sulphuric Acid stored in a soft drink bottle thinking that it was soft drink during a birth day party organized at the residence of Shanker Singh. The acid was brought by him to melt yellow metal to produce ornaments.
The duos were rushed into a nearby hospital for treatment however they declared as brought dead. A case stands registered at city market police station on the incident.
