Hassan: In a tragic incident, two persons met a watery grave after a raft capsized while they were fishing at a lake in Timlapura in Dudda hobli here on Saturday.
Kishore reared fish in the lake and had taken two other friends along with him for fishing on a raft. Amid heavy rains and strong winds, the raft overturned. Rajanna (50) and Kishore (38) drowned while another swam ashore.
A search and rescue operation was launched after the incident. The mortal remains of Kishore have been found while a search is ongoing for locating Rajanna.
Dudda police have registered a case.
