Two fishing boats from Tamil Nadu stranded off Karwar coast

Karwar: Two boats carrying 13 fishermen on board were stranded 21 nautical miles off Karwar drift because of cyclonic effect in the Arabian Sea. The rescue teams luckily managed to save 11 fishermen however 2 are yet to be found as one of the boat inverted in the turbulent remote oceans.
Two fishing boats named Angelina-1 and Angelina-2 with 13 fishermen from Tamil Nadu,ventured into remote oceans for fishing. Both the vessels were found off-guard in the high tides.One of the boat sank in the sea,while another boat’s motor was harmed.
Fisheries Department Deputy Director Santosh Koppad educated that 11 of the 13 fishermen were protected.
When the to Indian Coast Guard group were informed, rescue activities started. The rescue team in patrolling boat reached the spot 21 nautical miles off Karwar drift and figured out how to safeguard 4 individuals from the sinking boat. But, two are as yet missing and efforts in on to find them.
