Two from DK win medals at Asian Benchpress Powerlifting Championship

Mangaluru: Two powerlifters from the city bagged medals at the Asian Benchpress Powerlifting Championship 2018 being held in Dubai.
While city lass Venizeia Annie Carlo bagged a silver medal, Pradeep Kumar Acharya won a bronze medal at the event held on September 19.
Notably, both of them are coached by Satish Kumar Kudroli.
The championship, being held between September 18-24, has been organised by the International Powerlifting Federation, Asian Powerlifting Federation and Emirates Powerlifting Committee.
