Two held for friend’s murder after he drank alcohol from their glass

Police detained two persons in connection with the murder of a youth in Bengaluru’s Mahadevapura on Thursday night.
The arrested are identified as Kumar and Sridhar, both friends of the victim, Santosh, 23, a resident of Kaveri Nagar
On the day of the incident, Santosh was partying with the accused duo at a bar here when an argument ensued between them after he drank alcohol from Kumar’s glass.
Later when they left the bar, they again began quarreling over the issue and Kumar alongwith Sridhar attacked Santosh with a bottle. Seeing Santosh bleed from the injury, Kumar and Sridhar left the spot. Meanwhile, Santosh was taken to the hospital but he passed away.
