Two held for threatening ASHA worker in Kundapur

Kundapur: The city police arrested two people for threatening and preventing an Associated Social Health Activist (ASHA) worker from discharging her duties on Monday, April 27.
The arrested are Sandeep Mesta and Mahesh Kharvi.
As per sources, the health officials had put Sandeep under quarantine for 28 days. However, he was seen wandering, following which Asha worker Laxmi C warned him to stay indoors.
Irked by the warning Sandeep who along with his friend Mahesh Kharvi waylaid Laxmi and threatened to kill her.
A case in this regard has been registered with Kundapur police.
