Two killed in road accident

Davanagere: Two persons died on Wednesday night after their two-wheeler was hit by a truck near Kumbaluru village in Harihara taluk.

The deceased have been identified as Mohammed Shadaab Khan and Muzzamil. The accident took place when there duo was going to Davanagere from Shiralakoppa

As per the sources, one person died on the spot and another succumbed to injuries in the district hospital here.

A case with this regard has been registered with the local police and the police have launched a manhunt for the truck driver, who is absconding.
