Two more notorious thieves nabbed in connection with Banglegudde robbery

Karkala: Manchakal Azaruddin (32) and Kapu Azzaruddin (25) were arrested by the police on February 20th at Shirva.
The accused were responsible for the robbery that took place at a couple’s house at Banglegudde on the night of Feb 3rd.
A gold bangle worth 21 thousand and the Ninja bike worth 2lacs used in the chain snatch robber attempt at Kapu have been recovered from the arrested.
It is understood from investigations that the accused were active in Bhatkal, Kundapura, Udupi and Karkala areas. They were also involved in the earlier incident of highway robbery.
The accuse were absconding for the last four years from court warrant released in relation to multiple robberies that took place in Ankola, Manki, Bhatkala of Uttara Kannada district, Kundapura, Manipala, Kapu and Hiriyadka of Udupi district and Mangaluru city limits.
In all 8 robbers have been nabbed by the Karkala police crime detection and Kaup crime detection squads wanted for robberies in various parts of Uttara Kannada and Udupi districts. Gold and other items amounting to Rs. 11 lakh have been recovered from the accused.
Udupi SP has announced a prize to Karkala and Kapu Police crime detection squad for nabbing the criminals who were absconding from the court since many years.
