Two most wanted ex-Naxals held after 12 years

Pavagada: Two ex-naxals who were in wanted list for killing policemen 12 years ago at Venkatammanahalli were arrested by the police on Tuesday.

The naxals have been identified as as Venkatammanahalli Pargi Rajanna (47) and R Achchammanahalli Kote Srinivas (55).  On February 11th 2005, a police camp in Venkatammanahalli was attacked by a group of naxals. The attack resulted in killing policemen and the above two naxals were also involved in the killing. They have been absconding since then. They were working as labourers in Bengaluru and Andhra Pradesh.

The naxals were arrested by a team of police on Tuesday and were produced before the court.
