Two shops gutted in major fire in Sirsi, none hurt

Sirsi: Two shops were completely gutted in a major fire that broke out in a shopping complex located near the Nataraj road, Sirsi in the wee hours of Thursday.
A jewelry shop and a boutique were reduced to ashes leading to a loss of goods worth Rs 30 lakh.
It is said that the residents who were staying above the shopping complex noticed the fire in the morning and immediately vacated their house.
Soon after fire personnel arrived at the spot and doused the fire.
