Two teenage girls raped in Uttar Pradesh

Ballia/Shahjahanpur (UP): Two teenage girls were raped in Ballia and Shahjahanpur districts, police sources said here.

In Ballia, a 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped when she was alone at her house in Reoti area here, police said today.

The accused, identified as Mantu Yadav, has been arrested, they said.

The incident took place on Wednesday when the accused barged into the victim’s house and took her to the field where he raped her, police said.

In Shahjahanpur, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a auto driver at a village in Roza area yesterday, police said 

According to the police, the incident took place when the girl had gone to a nearby field and the accused Surendra Kumar raped her.

An FIR has been registered in this connection and a manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
