Two-wheelers burnt to ashes after fight breaks between two gangs

Udupi: Two-wheelers were completely burnt after two gangs got into a fight on the night of Saturday, October 31.

Reportedly, six persons have been taken into custody already.

The arrested are Suraj, Alwyn, Mohith, Balakrishna, Manikanta, and Pappu, all locals of Uppoor. However, an FIR is yet to be filed at Brahmavar police station.

As per sources, there was friction between the two gangs for a long time which took a violent turn on Saturday.

One gang was from Kolalgiri while the other came from outside. The gang which came to Kolalgiri had weapons. Fearing them, the local gang escaped after which the outside gang burnt their vehicles.
