Uber appoints Flex CEO Revathi Advaithi as independent director

Uber has appointed electronics manufacturer Flex CEO Revathi Advaithi as an independent board member.

Advaithi has previously served as a VP at Honeywell. She was appointed as the CEO of Flex in February last year. Flex  is a manufacturer that delivers technology innovation, supply chain, and manufacturing solutions to diverse industries and end markets.

Advaithi is a mechanical engineer who grew up in India with four sisters and now has been appointed as an independent director and member of the Audit Committee.
