Mangaluru: Udayavani and its readers are a family – a relationship that is bound by love and trust. This friendly relationship can bring a new light, said the Managing Editor of Taranga weekly magazine Dr. Sandhya S Pai.

She was speaking at the prize distribution ceremony for the lucky winners of the Udayavani Deepavali Dhamaka 2022 competition held at S.L. Shet Diamond House at Ladyhill, Mangaluru on Wednesday.

Dr. Sandhya S Pai appreciated the friendly atmosphere between the hosts, guests, and participants. “Such cordial interaction between the hosts, guests, and the participants is rarely seen,” she said.

She also congratulated S.L. Shet Diamond House on the occasion of completing 75 years. “It was possible by the love and trust people have put in it. Be it, doctors or gold merchants, the trust of its customers is invaluable for success,” she opined. She wished for the continuation of the collaboration and cooperation between Udayavani and S.L. Shet Diamond House to continue into the future.

Speaking on the occasion, the owner of the S L Shet Diamond House, Ravindra Shet said that “Udayavani” has become a household name through its exemplary journalistic work. T. Satish Pai and Sandhya S. Pai’s style of work and the manner in which the newspaper was built are exemplary. The work of two great achievers, who have convinced millions of readers through Udayavani, Tushara, Roopatara, Taranga, and Tunturu is unforgettable.

In commemoration of its 75th-year celebrations, S L Shet Diamond house felicitated Ravindra Shet, and MMNL Executive Chairperson T. Satish Pai and Dr. Sandhya S. Pai. Deepti Sharath Shet, who was an “ambassador” of the industry sector for the “Navaroopa” program organized by Udayavani on the occasion of Navratri, was honored with a memento.

Ramachandra Mijar, Vice President of Udayavani Magazine Division and Special Initiatives said that the Deepavali special has been printed for 25 years. he thanked S L Shet Diamond House for their support of Udayavani initiatives and said the organization has sponsored more than 1.5 lakhs in prizes for the initiatives of the Udayavani this year alone. It is momentous that more than 40,000 persons participated in this year’s contest, he added.

Manipal Media Network Executive Chairperson T. Satish Pai, SL Shet Diamond House partner Sharath Shet, Prasad Shet, Deepti Shet, and Shanaya Shet were present.
