Udupa Family Trust felicitates MAHE Chancellor

Manipal: Kodethoor Udupa Family Foundation Trust felicitated Dr Ramdas M Pai, Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education here at the manipal.edu building on Tuesday. Present on the occasion were; Dr H S Ballal, Pro Chancellor, MAHE, Manipal, Dr H Vinod Bhat, Vice Chancellor and Dr Poornima Baliga, Pro Vice Chancellor Health Sciences.

The Trust which was recently registered, with Dr K.B.Udupa, Scientist, Phoenix, Arizona, USA as Trustee and Chairman, Mr K Bhuvanabhirama Udupa, Editor, Yugapurusha, Kinnigoli as Secretary and Dr N.Udupa, Director of Research, MAHE, Manipal as Convener felicitated Dr Pai for his priceless contribution to Education, Healthcare and Community Services globally.

This is the first activity of the Trust which will organize three Endowment lectures annually in Health Sciences, Technology and Innovation, Literature and publications in MAHE. The first Endowment lecture on Health Sciences will be delivered by Dr H Vinod Bhat, Vice Chancellor, MAHE Manipal in Manipal in November 2018 under the chairmanship of Dr H S Ballal.

“The Trust will give scholarships to students and contribute financially for treating poor patients in Manipal group of Hospitals,” according to Dr. N. Udupa Professor and Research Director (Health Sciences), MAHE.
