Udupi: 12 students of Netra Jyothi College achieve ranks in RGUHS paramedical degree examinations

Udupi: Twelve students of Netra Jyothi College for Paramedical Sciences, Udupi, have gotten top ranks in examinations conducted by Rajiv Gandhi  University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) for various paramedical degree courses in 2022 and 2023.

In the Public Health course examination held in December 2023, Ashita (1st), Kavita Nayak (3rd), Rafia Raibhag (4th), Pawan Kumar (6th), and Preeti Chikkamat (8th) have secured ranks. Shambavi (1st), Hashit Kumar (2nd), and Navya (9th) have achieved ranks in the Hospital Administration Degree Examination held in December 2023. Kavya (2nd), Chaitra (5th), Tejaswini (6th), and Dikshita (7th) have secured ranks in the BSc Operation Theater examination held in December 2022.

Netra Jyothi Institute has achieved an unprecedented feat by securing twelve ranks in semi-medical degree courses. The faculty and staff responsible for this achievement have been congratulated by Rashmi Krishna Prasad, the administrative director of the college.

She stated that this accomplishment of their institution established a few years ago to provide quality paramedical education to all students in the region and ensure they become proficient paramedical professionals to meet the demands of the medical field, is a matter of pride.

Netra Jyoti Institute will soon relocate to a well-equipped building in the heart of Udupi. The new premises will feature state-of-the-art laboratories, digital classrooms, and a library, which will enhance the students’ educational experience, the press release from the institute said.
