Udupi: 170 new COVID-19 cases on Aug 4; tally nears 5k

Udupi: 170 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the district on August 4 bringing the total cases near to the 5,000 mark.

No COVID-19 deaths have been reported on the same day.

The cumulative total cases in the district have increased to 4,970. Of these 2,948 have recovered and 42 have died.

Till date, about 36,200 samples have been collected in the district for testing.
