Udupi: 2 injured as SUV crashes into tikka shop at Katapady

Katapady: A shop owner and a customer were injured after a parked SUV crashed into a tikka shop after being rear-ended by another car.
The incident happened at the service road in Katapady on National Highway 66 on the evening of August 18.
The injured have been identified as Bhuvanesh of Katapady Petebittu, and Mohammad Sahil of Uttar Pradesh who ran the Royal Tikka shop at the junction. They were rushed to a private hospital in Udupi.
The SUV suffered damage in the accident. Police from the Kaup outpost visited the accident spot and have taken up the investigation.
