Udupi: 213 new COVID-19 cases detected on July 31

Udupi: 213 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the district on July 31. With this, the total number of infected persons in the district has increased to 4,355.
4 people were also discharged on the same day.
Presently, there are 1,898 active cases in the district.
3 cases were reported from Gulwadi gram panchayat limits near Basur, 48 others in Kundapura taluk and 8 from Byndoor taluk.
A coastal police station of the Gangolli police was sealed till August 3 after 2 staff members tested positive for COVID-19.
