Udupi: 23-yo girl ends life over unemployment

Udupi: A 23-year-old girl who was battling for her life after a suicide bid on April 30 breathed her last at Udupi district government hospital on Monday.
The deceased, Sahana, 23, had completed her MBA but was depressed as she did not find a job that matched her educational qualification.
On April 30 she was visiting her sister Saumya who resides near Shirva. Later that night she consumed poison. As she was vomiting the next day, she was taken to a nearby hospital, and later she was shifted to Manipal hospital. On May 7 Sahana was shifted to Udupi district government hospital for advanced treatment. She however died on May 9 due to internal organ injuries.
