Udupi: 3 COVID Care Centres in district soon, says DC

Udupi: Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha informed that three new COVID Care Centres will be set up at the taluk centres of Kundapura, Udupi and Karkala for isolation of COVID-19 patients.
He was speaking after the opening of the first of the three COVID Care Centre in Kundapura on Friday.
“There will be 200 beds in the Udupi COVID Care Centre while those in Kundapura and Karkala will have 80 beds each. The Centre will be for those COVID-19 patients who do not need hospitalization or do not have proper arrangements for home isolation,” the DC added.
