ASHA worker Rajivi received a call around 3 am that a pregnant woman, Srilatha was experiencing labour pain and had to be taken to a hospital. Soon after Rajivi drove to their place and got the lady admitted to the Koosamma Shambhu Shetty Haji Abdulla Government Women and Children’s Hospital Udupi.
