Udupi: ASI who suffered brain hemorrhage on retirement day dies

Udupi: Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Kota police station who suffered a severe brain hemorrhage on June 1 died on Tuesday, June 2.

ASI Anand Venkat Devadiga (60) on Monday, June 1 suffered a severe brain hemorrhage and collapsed during the time of farewell lunch arranged by the police personnel and staff on his retirement day.

However, he breathed his last on Tuesday after he stopped responding to the treatment. He is survived by his wife and two children.

Muzrai minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, Brahmavar police circle inspector Ananthapadmanabha, inspector Rajashekar, and staff paid their last respects to him at Kota police station.
