Udupi: Bala Bhojanalaya, Dhyana Mandir to be inaugurated on May 10

The inauguration ceremony of the Bala Bhojanalaya (children’s dinner hall) and Dhyana Mandir (meditation hall) at Sri Bhagavan Nityananda Mandir Math, located near Kavi Muddana Marg in the city, is scheduled for 9 am on May 10.
The day’s events will commence with a Ganapati Homa at 8:30 am, followed by a Children’s Kunita Bhajan competition at 9:30 am. A Maha Puja is scheduled for 12 noon, with Annasantharpana following at 12:30 pm. The religious meeting, set to begin at 6 pm, will feature Shri Mohana Das Paramahamsa Swamiji of Bantwala Manila Sridham.
Additionally, Shri Vijayananda Swamiji of Bailahongala Bevinakoppa Anandashram will also be present. The event will be presided over by Mumbai businessman K.K. Avaserkar, with the participation of Mumbai businessman Surendra Kalyanpur and Dr. G. Shankar, founder of the Shyamili Family Trust.
K.K. Avarsekar, the Managing Trustee of Mandir Mutt from Mumbai, and K. Diwakara Shetty Thotadamane, Chairman of Kanhangad Vidya Sanstha said that nine individuals who have rendered outstanding service in the field of devotional singing will be honored.
