Udupi: Bike abandoned on Mabukala bridge; Owner found dead

Udupi: The body of a man whose bike and footwear were found abandoned on the Mabukala bridge has been recovered on Sunday, August 14.
The deceased has been identified as Ashok Suvarna (49), a resident of Kodankoor village.
On Sunday morning, Ashok’s bike and footwear were found abandoned on the bridge. Following this, a search operation was conducted and in the afternoon his was body found around 1.5 km away from the bridge.
Ashok was suffering from depression for quite some time and he had left a note at his residence stating that he would end his life.
