Udupi: Burkha-clad women pose as customers, steal gold bangles from reputed showroom

Udupi: Two burkha-clad women stole four gold bangles, valuing around Rs three lakh from a jewellery showroom at Udupi here.
The incident took place at Sulthan Diamonds & Gold when the two women in the guise of customers sought to see gold bangles.
As the showroom executive was displaying various bangles to them, the duo somehow managed to divert his attention and pocketed 4 gold bangles weighing around 60 grams.
After the theft came to light, the store branch manager Mohammed Ajmal lodged a complaint at Udupi town police station
