Kattapady: A car crashed on Monday morning into a field near Kallapu on National Highway 66 after losing control.
The driver and fellow passenger escaped unhurt.
The car was travelling from Kaup towards Udupi. The driver lost control of the car and crashed into an electric pole after rolling three times on the road.
After being hit by the car, the wires on the poles got cut preventing a bigger tragedy.
