Udupi: Centre approves widening of NH 169A’s Hebri-Parkala, Karavali Jn-Malpe stretch

Udupi: The Central government has approved the widening of National Highway 169A road between Hebri and Parkala and Karavali Junction to Malpe.
MP Shobha Karandlaje said the Central government has released a grant of Rs 350 crore for the 29-kilometre long road project (including land acquisition).
The government also released Rs 19 crore for the construction of a retaining wall and raising of the road along the National Highway 169A at Hebri Seetanadi and at Nemmaru near Sringeri.
